Here are a few pieces from a featured spot I have down at The Hive Gallery this June. Opening is June 5th at 8pm. Come on down if you're in LA :) While my pieces aren't video game related, there is also a group show going on at the gallery which features artwork inspired by video games. You can contact nathan@thehivegallery.com if you're interested in any works.

Dante's Inferno is out! Uploaded a bunch of work from the past year into "Concept Art", with more on the way.

We are showing loads of pieces from Dante's Inferno at the Hotel Des Arts in San Francisco, as a part of Into the Pixel. I believe we have the entire 4th floor! Opening is Thursday, March 11th at night. There are rumors that the Gourmet SF food carts will make an appearance too ;) If you can't make it out, you can still check out some pieces in our re-release of the original poem at your local Borders/BN.

I also have a piece, "Ozma" (sold), up at the "Night of the Nick-Nacks" show at Melt Gallery in LA. I will have two miniature pieces in a "Tiny" themed show at Melt, in their April show.

Lastly, I'll have an illustration based on crazy Asian YouTube kids in Hyphen Magazine (out around mid-April). It should be a good read :)

Just a few show updates! I'll be in another group show at Melt Gallery in Dec. I also have a featured artist show at the Hive Gallery planned for next year, so I'm quite busy preparing for that!

Also, if you check out this month's Girls of Gaming magazine, you can find a character I designed, "the Temptress" from Dante's Inferno.

I've been really busy and haven't had any time to update this website, but my blog has been a little more active as of late! Please check it out for the latest news.

I did two collabo pieces with Chrystal Chan for a show at Shojin in Los Angeles (333 S. Alameda St. Los Angeles. Reception is on Oct 6 from 8pm-11pm.)

Another show I'm a part of, "A Murder of Crows" opens soon down at Melt Gallery in Beverly Hills. This show is based around the letters of the alphabet, each corresponding to the terms of venery. I have "B", for a "Bale of Turtles". (October 3, Reception 6-9pm, 7522 West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90046)

Lastly, I've changed the "Fantasy" section to "Concept" and have added some of the officially revealed concept art from the upcoming video game, Dante's Inferno. I've been a primary concept artist for this game for the past year, designing characters, creatures and the visual languages of various circles/levels.

I'm a featured artist this month at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, for their 4 year Anniversary show. Try to check it out if you're in the area!

An amazing new trailer has been released for the game I'm currently helping out with, Dante's Inferno.

Also, it seems that I'm in a new compilation book, called "Fantasy Workshop". In it you'll find a digital painting tutorial I did a while back for ImagineFX.

On the other side of the art world, my traditional/personal painting show at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles is soon approaching, the opening night being April 4th, Saturday from 8:00 - 12:30AM.

It seems I'm covering all sorts of mediums this month, as a film I helped with on background illustration, "Generic Thriller" hits Cinequest in San Jose.

And last, but certainly not least, my winning design for the Project Runway / Levi's Project 501 contest from last year is finally up and avaliable for purchase on Levi.com. Be sure to check that out!

SPIKE TV had their Video Game Awards a few days ago, and presented (by Kim Kardashian..?!) was the debut trailer of a game I'm currently helping out with, Dante's Inferno. If you have a quick eye, you may catch some of my work in this clip!
